"The AZ law at the very least gives the perception that racial profiling is acceptable. I do not believe it is."

--------------------------------

So much energy being wasted by you on this. It has no bearing on you; and what can you do to protect minorities there since you are not a citizen there. Besides, as I have provided you, the US Supreme Court already decided this issue.

This law that AZ passed does NOT - I repeat Does NOT include racial bias. No citizens of the United States of America will be hurt by this law - only person who are in the USA illegally. How many times must we say that for you to understand it.

Did you ever state that legal citizens of this great country who live in AZ have suffered greatly because of illegals? No all you can harp on is that everybody is pickin on persons with brown skins. Bull!! Go down there and live for a while and find out what it is REALLY like.

The AZ law at the very least gives the perception that racial profiling is acceptable. I do not believe it is. If I choose to protect the minority citizens of this case, in this country, where should I go live. It's not racial with you is it?

Very interesting that you have the "perception" of racial profiling. My perception was and is ILLEGAL/LEGAL. When state budgets are broke due to providing the needs of illegals and honestly cannot meet the needs of legals then we need to put the whoas to this drain on our resources. We already send gajillions of dollars in forein aid to basically the whole world and still providing for those who violate our borders. You see nothing wrong with this picture? I don't see a problem with persons who seek to become citizens thru the channels provided - but don't come here as an illegal and usurp our resouces meant for LEGAL CITIZENS OF THE USA. When a person goes thru the process of becoming a citizen, they come to love this great land of ours and cherish the ideals of our people. Those who invade are users.

Per TP: "The AZ law at the very least gives the perception that racial profiling is acceptable..."

The RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) law was passed in 1970.  Its intended use was to prosecute the Mafia as well as others who were actively engaged in organized crime.  Spurred by New York state's efforts against the John Gotti clan and other mobsters.

Now by your logic, that law at the very least gave the perception that racial profiling is acceptable by "targeting" coincidently Italians and Italian Americans (most of whom were, by the way, actual U.S. citizens).

Am I following you on this now Davey?

A couple of great point here. First (JC) "Those who invade are users."  And that is exactly what it is an invasion.  These people are coming here and trying to influence our way of life with theirs.  Need prove? See Mobaydaves last post.  Most state forms are printed in both English and Spanish when English is our official language.  Have you noticed how many TV commercials today have Hispanics in them to try to get the Hispanic culture to buy their products.  We are being invaded, but its from a friendly country so it is okay.

And Hiroad's point about the RICO act being all about profiling.  The goverment even uses it to crack down on crime.  Why can't Arizona do the same thing?  They are going after illegals just like the RICO act.  Great point Hiroad.
