Muscatine

This is a hurtful topic for me as I was stationed in Greece and got to visit Athens and love the Greek people.  But part of the problem from my limited knowledge is the European Union structure itself.  When we get a load of debt America is able to print more money to help offset the debt a bit.  Greece cannot print more drachmas because their economy is based on the Euro, and Greece (Or Spain, or Portugal) cannot make more Euros to help offset the debt.  I do believe the "socialism" of Greece had a lot to do with the problem which makes me question the direction the President want to take this country.  I am sorry but I do not see things getting any better under the Obama administration.

To paraphrase Margaret Thatcher (from 1976):  Socialism is OK until you run out of other people's money.
