Everyone please take a minute for remembering what Memorial Day is for. Have a safe and happy weekend.

I can honestly say I have had the PRIVILEDGE of standing topside, in formation, in dress whites, during a burial at sea ceremony.  If we don't remember then we will forget and I think too many people in today's America have already forgotten.

I will be visiting my brothers grave who served 20 years in the military at the Rock Island Arsenal.

I will also visit my brother in laws grave there that served 4 years in WW 11 plus local family graves so it will be a full day.

I'll be placing a flag and flowers on the grave of my closest relative who served in the military.
