The only distinction between the two is which side you are on.
You got it!
May I expand on this?
There are many instances where a one can be both. A terrorist to your enemies and a freedom fighter to your friends.
Some examples:
Sparticus Terrorist to the Romans. Freedom fighter to the slaves.
General Francis Marion Terrorist to the British Freedon fighter to us.
Suicide bombers Terrorists to the Israelis Freedom fighters to the Arabs
Hamas Terrorists to the Israelis Freedom fighters to the Arabs
Bobby Sands Terrorist to the British Freedom fighter to the Irish
Crazy Horse Terrorist to the U. S. Freedom fighter to the Lakotas
Tim McVeigh Terrorist to most of us Freedom fighter to the fringe right
Queen Elisabeth I Terrorist to the Irish Freedom fighter to England
Manachem Begin Terrorist to the British Freedom fighter to some jews
Don't change your mind just because I agree with you.
sorry I strongly disagree. crazy horse was no terrorist he fought for the freedoms of his people who were being murdered by the hundreds of thousands by people like col. custer( who would charge into a village and kill every thing and everyone including children, women and the elderly). in fact crazy horse was a great man, same as sitting bull, Geronimo, chief Joesph, red cloud, running rabbit. many moons, etc., etc. they all fought with honor and for their peoples freedom. in fact what would you expect a nation of people to do if some aggressive empire attacked, occupied and systematically killed their people. It is a god giving right to defend yourself and your homeland.
the Irish too had it bad. ever heard of the potato famine or An Gorta Mor. it was where britian stole Ireland's food, all except potatoes, then the potatoes were hit with a fungus, leaving the Irish to starve by the millions. no when your people are facing a genocide situation they are defending them selfs.
when you plant a bomb in a black bapist church and kill a lot of innocent people you are a terrorist, you know like that friend of obama that blow up a police station.
