And why was he allowed to practice law after being able to "retire" due to his "disability"? Those of us in the community who had known for YEARS that he was a drunk - just a common drunk - could not understand all the breaks that he was getting - and it appears that the courts continuue to mollycoddle him. He was "extremely intoxicated" - that seems to be his preferred condition and unless they lock him up and keep booze away from him that is probably how he will remain. His "treatment" was obviously a roaring failure, even tho he was forced to go thru treatment twice.

It is indeed sad. And prayers, with a hand from above, may be his only hope. It's a shame to see what a waste alcohol / drugs can make of a person. Addiction is a powerful thing and should not be mocked and ridiculed. I wish him well and will offer my prayers to help.
