The good news for Democrats: By a margin of 47 percent to 42 percent, people trust them more than Republicans to guide the economy, and 64 percent — slightly more than in April — say their household budgets are in good shape.

In addition, people want Democrats to win control of Congress by a 46 percent to 39 percent margin.

Not only that, the poll was taken from a random sampling of adults.  Not among likely voters.

Gohawks is right, davie.....it's the voters that speak....and boy have they spoken lately! Of course pmsnbc will do anything to try and reel back from the recent election trends that are mounting towards November. Might I suggest we keep davie's post and poll results in mind until after the November elections. Then we can really talk about belief in polls.
