Americans Really Don’t Miss President Bush

Posted in: Muscatine

In reality, not much has changed; the American public still doesn’t really miss Bush. From a new Time poll:
– 61 percent blame the Bush for the “balky economy,” while 27 percent blame Obama.

– 53 percent favor Obama over Bush (33 percent).

– 55 percent favor Obama over Sarah Palin (34 percent) in a hypothetical 2012 presidential campaign

The Siena Research Institute also just released a poll of presidential scholars, who rated Bush in the “bottom five” of U.S. presidents throughout history. They rated him 39th. Other presidents in the bottom five were Andrew Johnson, James Buchanan, Warren G. Harding, and Franklin Pierce. Obama was ranked 15th

In reality? What a farse!   Remember, davie, your commie brother always said this kind of comparison didn't count when Clinton was compared to Bush, after Clinton was out of office. He said the same thing about Kerry after his attempt.

But please keep representing the liberal view in this way, will ya?? (How's that Bush impeachment coming along, BTW?)

How about something that is more relevant from a nonpartisan poll:

Quinnipiac University Poll July 21, 2010:

"A year after President Barack Obama's political honeymoon ended, his job approval rating has dropped to a negative 44 - 48 percent, his worst net score ever, and American voters say by a narrow 39 - 36 percent margin that they would vote for an unnamed Republican rather than President Obama in 2012, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today."  (That means they would vote for ANY Republican rather than vote for Obumbler!)

And from the nonpartisan and most unbiased Rasmussen Report!:

July 19, 2010:

"Republican candidates now hold a nine-point lead over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot for the week ending Sunday, July 18, the widest gap between the two parties in several weeks."   (And Obumbler's Presidential Tracking Poll numbers continue on the double digit negative side)

You must mean "mostly" unbiased.   It's definetly not the most unbiased.   It's now called the right leaning Rasmussen poll by many
