How is everybody doing today??  Other than the fact I've been scrubbing my basement, I'm good.

I am not doing so well right now.  We had to take our cat to the vet to have a growth removed and we have been concerned about her recovery.  She is doing well right now so we are grateful.  However today is my wife's birthday and I simply forgot about it with worrying about our cat.  I am embarrassed to say the least.

I hope your cat is going to be OK. Think positive thoughts. It's so hard when one of our 4-footed "kids" isn't doing well. I can certainly sympathize with you. I lost one of my "fur-kids" a few months ago, and my Lab is 13 1/2 and although he's doing really well, I know it can't be a lot longer.

I'm sure your wife will forgive you...I would imagine she's as worried as you are so you have no reason to be embarrassed about it. Keep up the good thoughts and all will be well.
