I have to admit to owning one on the list, Ned.  My fire-engine red pinto had a BUILT IN 8-TRACK PLAYER!!!  Sweeeeeeet.   Underpowered, rattled alot, bumpy ride, poor visibility, and a rolling fire-ball if you got rear-ended.  Other than that, a great little car.

Ned....I never owned any of these, but came very close to buying a Vega at one time.  We decided on something a little bigger....a Ford Granada.  How that car didn't make the list is beyond me.

Had a Vega once. Had to put in a new clutch and radiator before I could drive it out West and back. It developed a cracked head. Leaked oil out the crack. I found the crack and patched it with furnace cement. The patches didn't last though. So, my dad and bro saved their used oil and I kept it topped off with that. The rear window was rusted around the edges and about to fall out when I junked it.
