Navy Seal Reichert

Posted in: Muscatine

From Nathan Reichert’s web site some of the committees he is on the, appropriations committee and capitals appropriations committee.

Also from Reichert’s web site, he left the University of Iowa due to financial reasons.

Ap·pro·pri·a·tion

1. The act of appropriating.

2.

a. Something appropriated, especially public funds set aside for a specific purpose.

b. A legislative act authorizing the expenditure of a designated amount of public funds for a specific purpose.

He wants to be re-elected to do what, spend more of our money!

Let’s see he claims to be a professor of economics so I guess in his classes what ever he tells you, you do just the opposite.

Are these classes like someone else’s, you know where no one saw him or remembered him in class and he can’t produce or find any transcripts to backup he was there.

See a pattern?

I am voting for the guy with his name on the door of a business, the guy who has to make a payroll and lives within his means and not use some other family member’s means.

Aye, aye Captain.

(this is where you throw that fake seal a fish or in this case out of office)

If you look the term "professor" up you will find that Reichert might fit the definition as far as "one who professes to be an expert." If MCC has not bestowed the title on him, and I am fairly sure that they havent because they cant, then he and Mr. Deadbeat are both posers that think a lot of themselves and have goiven themselves titles to sound like something they really are not. Both turn my stomach.

He worked for HON/Allsteel or HNI or whatever they're calling it these days.We all know how that outfits doing.

Do you attribute HNI's condition to Reichert?  Or why else does their condition matter?

How much power to influence things do you think he had?

One out of how many, 8,600?

i believe reichert he has an mba...a back round that is beneficial to his elected political position...and yes, lofgren's finance degree and owning a small business/financial investment firm is good, too. i'm still deciding who to vote for.

the "professor" claim is probably overstated. i think a true "professor" title requires a PHD. by that standard, few or no teachers at mcc qualify as a professor...they are "instructors" with masters degrees...i hope they have a masters degree.

in recent years, community colleges and other small colleges have used what amounts to part-time "temp" employees to teach classes. they are called "adjunct" faculty and are used to cut the expenses of the educational institution (much lower salary and no benefits). most all of them have masters degrees and are probably quality instructors in their area of expertise/interest.

mcc has a picture/roster listing of 40? adjunct instructors on the wall in the admissions/student center building...i would have to check it out, but i'm guessing reichert's picture is on that listing as an adjunct instructor...not that there is anything wrong with that, lol.
