Today in Des Moines, obama told a group of about 70 people that "GOP has been dishonest about what needs to be done to revive the economy and restore middle-class dreams."

He went on to say "We can't pretend that there are shortcuts."

Dishonest? Who told us that if the stimulus bill passed that unemployment would not go over 8%? Was that the GOP? NO it was not - it was obama and that christione romer and nancy pelosi and harry reid and the rest of those liars! That failure of a stimulus bill that was going to restore the economy only put us so far in debt we will never live long enough to pay it off.

Middle-class dreams? more like nightmares thanks to the current admin.

maybe he is just continuing the distraction of the two party system. see they can continue to ruin this country and blame it on the other party! when will people wake up and see the show they put on for the American people. it's called " we the republicans/democrats really do care about the American people, not the corporations that flood us with money!"

I find the standard of honest being discussed in this forum laughable. Hey lets have a Tea Party.
