lionjack Respected Neighbor Muscatine 544 Posts	Thats kinda cool.....but wasnt the old hershey st hospital the one that sat next to luthern homes and was torn down quite a few years ago? The old Hershey hospital was torn down years ago. It sat on Mulberry where the current Hershey Manor geezer apartments sit. The nurses living quarters is still there (I believe it has some kind of elderly services org. in it), but not the hospital. The old Lutheran Homes was out on the extension of Hershey street (Burlington Road), but had nothing to do with Hershey hospital. Before Hershey hospital was torn down, it was turned into a "convelescent home" for old people. By the way, I was born in that hospital when it actually was a hospital. Mal and Davey would call that "creepy"! Just wanted to let everyone know that I was born in the Hershey Hospital also. Dr. Phillips made the mistake of his entire medical career that day in 1937.
