The Iowa Republican Party is seeking to establish a "no-activities night" every Wednesday in the state.

It's unclear what activities will be off limits on Wednesdays, seeing as how some activities are necessary for survival.

The penalties for engaging in activities on Wednesdays is not stated, nor does the Iowa GOP specify whether the unacceptable activities will involve being indoors or outdoors, or the methods by which they will be enforced.

Doesn't affect me, as long as I can still sit in my easy chair with my hand down my pants and watch the tube, I'm fine with it.  Actually as long as I can do that any night I am cool with it.

I think there may be more to it then stopping you from sitting in your easy chair with your hand down your pants and watching the tube. While the information at this point is limit, what it appears to is the GOP again trying to restrict our freedoms. Hmmm? Maybe it does involve you, the easy chair, and your hand.

Talk to my wife.  She will tell you I have a no activity day every day!   I'll hardly notice.
