"The first person got it from nonhuman primates in Africa."

University of Alabama2 announced that they had found a type of SIVcpz that was almost identical to HIV-1. This particular strain was identified in a frozen sample taken from a captive member of the sub-group of chimpanzees known as Pan troglodytes troglodytes (P. t. troglodytes), which were once common in west-central Africa (near Obama's family village)."

Sorry, the Obama family is from East Aftica.

I guess it depends on what your definition of "near" is, right?

+You couldn't have thought I was serious, could you?   LOL

On 2nd thought, didn't his ancestors participate in the slave trade (capturing and selling other tribes people)?  And wasn't that done in West Africa?

More on Obama's ancestors and the slave trade:

From "The American Thinker":

"the Islamic culture in Africa, Arab African, is referred to with an ethnic name, Arab Africans, like Obama's father, are Muslims who leave behind their African culture and adopt the Arab culture.

The Arab African Muslim has always been associated with slavery because Islam is the driving force in the history of world slavery.

Islam's connection with slavery starts with Mohammed. The exact details of how slaves are taken are described in detail in the Sira, Mohammed's biography."

Yeah, but 3 or 4 thousand miles is stretching it for me.

How can one tell?  You've posted a lot of preposterous material that you apparently believe.   Should I consider any of that from "The American Thinker"as serious?

Ir was done in West Africa, but again, his family came from East Africa.
