You are just not correct. My high blood pressure was discovered while I was in high school. I was all state ( Great Falls High School) in three sports, ran the mile in just under 5 minutes. I was in great shape then. My brother runs 10 miles a day and according to his doctors is in excellent shape. (Joe?) He struggles with diabetes. Sorry you're wrong. This is not to say the things you mention don't play a role, they do, but they're not the only causes.
