Muscatine

Funeral services for Neighborhood Link will be Wed. Dec. 15^th at 10a.m.  The passing of Neighborhood Link, unfortunately, will be felt by only a few.  Neighborhood link has been a friend to Muscatine for the last decade, but has however succumbed to a slow and painful death.

Once a board of vibrant, cheerful discussion, jocularity and laughter the board has lately been infested with political discussions that ultimately lead to its passing. It was a slow lingering death brought on by politicalitis.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Republican Party.  (Don’t give to the Democratic Party or you will have the same fate as Neighborhood Link and other liberals on here.)

Those wishing to post condolences may do so but are required to bash Obama in the process.

I was going to ask the other day when the viewing and visitation was scheduled but figured no one would give a hoot. I'm glad that there are two of us who give a hoot.

Frankly, I can't think of anything to say about obama that hasn't already been said - well I mean that I can say on here without getting in trouble. If I don't have a coronary due to this man's actions it will be a miracle.

I see our vice president announced today that unemployment is up to 9.8 so I wonder what it REALLY is now as we all know that this admin will never give us the true picture. They are still claiming that they "saved or created" over 3 million job and we still have folks who have run out of 99 weeks of unemployment! Amazing! Of course ms pelosi claims that food stamps and unemployment are great job-creators. Perhaps we should sign up for these things and create some more jobs. Do any of them even listen to what they say? They sound dumber than a box of rocks.

I know we haven't heard from nedl for a spell. He is probably headed to the QC as they got some SNOW. I'm about ready to find the warm sunshine. My old bones like that better than the cold.
