What does this have to do with nobama's wife having a big butt, and demanding kids in school eat healthier?

The link you provided is the most shoddy bit of presentation I've seen in a long time.

First it says it is for the 200x cycle.   What does that mean?

Next it says he raised $109,107.   I think that's off by a factor of 1000 but check it out.

Then it says he spent 449% of it.   How?

Raised 0% from himself.   Wrong.

Raised 43% from individuals.

Raised 1% from PACs

Where did the other 56% come from?

Continuing:

If you go to the link Watchdog.net given in the text you get some more contradicting information.

It says he gave himself $23,798,300.   Where did he get that?

Spent 4.48865%

Raised from himself 0.00916531%

Raised from individuals 0.42517

If you believe the $23,000,000 and that it represents 0.0091% of his funds, then he raised a total of about $259,656,247,306.   That's half the Pentagon's budget.

And if you believe he spent 449% of what he raised, he spent $1,165,856,550,403.   Now you're talking about equal to around half the total U. S. budget.

He got 69 and a half milliion votes which works out to over $16,000 per vote.   Two or three dollars per vote should win most elections.

Shoddy isn't the work for it.   It should be spelled with t's.

A little more on the Clarence Thomas issue also courtesy of Common Cause.

The statements coming out of the Supreme Court about Justice Clarence Thomas' involvement with Koch Industries just don't add up -- and as Rachel Maddow said on her show last night, "it's kind of a big deal."

New Common Cause research found that Justice Thomas enjoyed a four-day, all-expense-paid trip in 2008 to Palm Springs, courtesy of the Federalist Society, where Koch Industries was holding one of its secretive political strategy meetings. But a Supreme Court spokesperson said that his involvement was limited to a "brief drop-by" at the gathering.

If that is the case, then his expenses should have been reported as a gift. They weren't.

This is just the latest in a series of revelations that raise troubling questions about Justice Thomas' potential bias in the Citizens United case, which opened the door for corporations like Koch Industries to spend unlimited funds to influence elections.
