deputy wade did what he felt was necesary to control situation;he did what was needed to conrol situation fellow who was drinking was in the wrong i'm glad wade is getting another chance he is a good officer

I know nothing of this deputy's record or experiences. However, the sheriff cited other incidents from the past that were reported in the Journal. Building a record of physical violence is not an indicator of a good officer.

What I know of the situation, things were handled correctly.

No they were not. The Civil Service Commission acknowleged the wrong-doing. If the situation (at the arrest) were handled correctly, the deputy would not have been fired, reviewed, fired, and then ultimately suspended by the CS Commission.

But then again...you never offered "what you know of the situation", did you?
