Our lot in life

Posted in: Muscatine

In Muscatine the "middle class" is dead, or mostly dead awaiting to die.  Take a look at our housing in Muscatine.  Any middle class home is almost impossible to sell, because the middle class is leaving and there aren't any new ones coming to replace them.  GPC has cut their hourly worker's wage by how much $12.00 to $13.00 per hour less.  Good-bye middle class there.

Iowa's Motto is: Our Liberties We Prize and our Rights We will Maintain" The Republican Underground is surely devoted to tearing the Iowa Motto apart at the seams.

There will be the wealthy and the peon labor.  As long as the peon labor doesn't complain, the Republican Wealthy will continue to take away all liberties, one at a time.

Don't think for one minute that because you say you are a Republican that you will be admitted into the back room with the Wealthy Republicans, you won't be.

Don't think for one minute the Republicans will bring in new jobs either.  Our local politician's campaigned on jobs, jobs, then they got elected.  Thats the last you heard about jobs.  Typical politician LIE.  Muscatine isn't growing, and won't, we have all been taken advantage of and violated.

So only Republicans are Wealthy? No Wealthy democrats? Perhaps you need to check on some FACTS before you speak. Do any of these names ring a bell - Kennedy, LBJ, Edwards, Kerry to name just a couple.

Wholetruth,

I think you have a good grasp of what's going on.   I worry weather or not it can be reversed.   Now that corporations are "people" and can contribute unlimited sums to campaigns and unions are being dismantled and there are more ways to conceal the money sources in campaigns, and of course guys like Limbaugh don't have to tell us where they get the money for their three hours of Republican campaign commercials, it will be hard for an honest ordinary person to compete.

It's interesting, you use the words "...Republican wealthy..." and they come back with "only Republicans are wealthy?" and "No wealthy Democrats?" neither of which you said or implied.

They're just programed to immediately go in attack mode.  Bend the words to suit.

"...attack mode"?, Mall...you mean like you did here attcking a post? So..you worry about the weather? Are you consumed by it? Are you afraid of lightening? Do you share aluminum foil hats with mobay?

BB....I drove up to Madison yesterday to take care of some family business visit a friend who works at the Workplace Development building which is just a block from the capital.  After parking, I had to walk a block to get there, and on the way, was met by several "protesters".  This patriotic group consisted of 8 or 9 senior citizens who were being shuffled around by some sort of organizer, 5 college students, drunk as hell and probably happy to get out of class, a couple of union organizers who were visibly upset by the lack of union pride exhibited by the drunks, and a fellow in boxing trunks (it was about 40 degrees, no shirt, and a boxing glove on one hand waving a handmade sign at passing traffic.

Very impressive.

Very impressive indeed , the impressionists are fabricating again.
