Tea Party Failure?

Posted in: Muscatine

Some how the words "I told you so" seem not to be enough. Hmmm?

(SNIP)
With Fox News host Glenn Beck’s ratings down and the biggest tea party rally eclipsed by a recent pro-labor rally in Wisconsin, could the tea party be losing steam? One new sign: a big tea party convention in Tampa, FL this weekend — headlined by such conservative favorites as Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), Fox News Judge Andrew Napolitano, and former GOP Congressman Tom Tancredo — attracted only about 300 people. The Save America Convention’s website lists 25 guest speakers, meaning there was one speaker for every 12 attendees. If one includes the 13 musicians and other performers listed as entertainment, that ratio drops to one for every 7 and a half.

Hey....nice picture of the proceedings before the proceedings got going.    A non-election year event in Tampa.....and this signals the end of the tea-party movement?  Quite a stretch, even from Wholepatriot.

Tell you what let's do.....let's have us a little wager.  I say conservative continue to "shellack" liberals in the next election.  You take the Libs.  Loser gets lost from the forum.  There was this fellow at this forum who made a bet like that a few years back, but he lost and then filched on the bet.  Surely that wouldn't happen this time, would it?

I guess that's the difference between me and you, I'd never suggest a opposing view to leave the forum. Even on a bet.

What I do like is how you try to connect WholeTruth and myself. That's freaking funny. That would be the bet for me, but your departure isn't needed.

Well you are, after all, a man of many usernames.

C'mon.  Do it.  I'm all in.  Just a friendly wager to see how confident you are in your position.  From this last reply, doesn't sound like you're all that firm in your beliefs.  Shoot, when you lose, you'll just change usernames again anyway, so it's not like the end of your shining career here.
