Wow, even the Muscatine Journal is against the empire building at the County Attorney's office.   They in effect said so in the Saturday paper, or did I misinterpret this?   How will Republicans be able to put political agenda without their enforcement support people?

Did you write this all by yourself?  Was it an authorless email? (I suspect, given the non-existent sentence structure in the last line, that you perhaps did write this on your own.  Or at least you didn't copy well.)   Does "in effect" mean that's what it said, or that's how you interpreted it? Does the Journal's whole arguement rest on their belief that the jail shouldn't be a revenue source?   Does this mean you've given up trying to substantiate your claim that I am a media person?  Is the bet off or on?
