I saw a mattress in front of Smith Language Academy aka 1600 Tyvola Road the old school. I was able to reach out to a contact with Solid Waste and she was able to get crews to pick that mattress up today. I was hoping if there was a truck doing bulk that picks up mattresses they would be able to grab the mattress.
Not sure how long it had been on the ground in the right of way.
Remember all bulk must be scheduled and should not go curb side until the day prior to your scheduled pickup. Always check the date that pops up if scheduling yourself or listen for the date 311 operators provide you. Sometimes it is not the coming weeks pickup. I have had them be 3 weeks out in the past.
Having bulk out early can result in a $150 dollar fine.
