Maybe Pickerington city council should hire legal huckster, Don McTigue, to thwart the Diley Road referendum submitted by disgruntled citizen, John Darby. McTigue was able to toss countless petitions filed by Pickerington citizens in years passed.
McTigue is usually hired when clients want to stop the citizenry from voting on a particular issue. McTigue?’s magic isn?’t 100%, however. He was unsuccessful in his petty arguments against letting citizens vote on the Ohio Constitutional Amendment banning gay marriage.
But when it comes to blocking a handful of citizens from exercising their right to vote, especially citizens with little or no money to help defend themselves in court, he?’s pretty reliable.
