I noticed today that our tree leaves have black seeds/eggs on them. Our neighbors also.
Some of the leaves look like they're shriveling. Thought it should be checked out.
Thank You, Mary Anne Arsenault. 8831 Fraizer St |

Hi Everyone,
I understand our streets are considered to be private, not city, so they are maintained by our snow removal company instead of the city. Why is that? The city streets are in better shape than ours and we pay taxes. Can it be changed?
I've been concerned about how icy the streets are as people shuffle to get their mail. I would hate for someone to fall at our age, even if you aren't as old as I am.
If we continue with our current snow removal company, could they put down some sand/salt to make it safer for all of us?
Thanks and Happy New Year! Mary Anne Arsenault |

Mary Anne,
Thanks for your message.
The streets were salted yesterday 1-28-2021.
We are careful about the amount of salt we use because it eventually gets on the lawns and then we have a problem with the grass dying out. It also costs over $400.00 for each application. We feel the current maintenance company is doing an excellent job of keeping our landscaping and streets maintained. In regard to the streets they are owned by the association and the city has no interest in owning them. I doubt that the City would get our street plowed first after a snow fall.

PS: some residents have purchased cleats that strap onto your shoes. They work well.
