That midnight speech with the flags and vets saluting historic flags going back to 1777 (actual flags displayed on stage) was so good. First the vet that was 101, then 102, and lastly one that was 107. Amazing Men. The speech was great. The crowd was huge considering they had evacuated the event with many thousands returning to hear and watch the fireworks.
The 4 singers from the military branches were excellent. 3 females and 1 male. They did all kinds of music during the fireworks. The music was top notch. The crowds were dancing, smiling and having a great time. Very long fireworks show. The best one I saw anywhere. I watched Nashville which does a huge show every year. It was super great, Macy's in NY, Disney, Dollywood all good. None of those could come close to the show in D.C. that ran until just after 1 am.
I streamed it on Associate Press live last night on youtube. Trump said the biggest and best fireworks show like none you had ever seen before. He nailed it!
