No!! You can't.....

Posted in: Muscatine

Good afternoon all,

Not well today, but simply must make a brief (hard for me) comment here. Gov. Palin simply isn't cut out in any time, this or any other to be so close to running our country. I know that.... all you other very passionate and deep thinkers know it as well. Admitting it is tough for me too. But I do admit it.  Even the staunchest libertarian would concede that our world HAS changed, and that to some extent those we elected to run this country should be given some measure to do it safely as well. But even the smallest creature among us knows that the better part of the past seven years has been a "no holds Barred" assault on our constitution, for maintaining and keeping the power needed to keep having the power. I love that old double standard regurgitated by the white house: "If you've nothing to hide, you've nothing to fear"  If you don't stand with us, you are against us"Bin laden is still out there isn't he? I hold nothing against Colin Powell, Condaliza Rice, Tom Ridge, Don Ashcroft and all those Republican (save one) and Democratic(save 25) representatives, who voted for a war against a nation that DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH Sep.11, 2001. No sirs, nor the several hundred thousand of our most honorable and brave men and women who without a choice, went on the Great Decider's word.  Sadly... for a once TRULY free people, even after that duplicitous ego maniacal farce played on all the world, it....that double standard, still doesn't seem to apply to those who express our "hiding and our fear." Who took revenge on the left when the attack was from the right, "they" still cannot admit nor many of us accept that "they" cheated us all.

It is indeed ironic that an entire cabinet in place since 2000, minus those few who felt the heat of delegated blame, are now quiet and humble. We have heard little from the great "decider" nor his #1 since telling us, the American people, that he doesn't care what we now think. He doesn't have to bow to us 300 million plus wanting to know why? Pols only matter to Dick when he wants our vote. "They" ARE the ones who have something to hide and ultimately should have fear. No sir, America HAS lost it's way, she has been railed and duped, and If Sen. McCain expects to get that 270, he had better be explaining why he has stood behind the great "Decider" and the fourth branch of Government established by DICK in 90% of their desires. I dearly liked the posting from one of the fellas here who likened Obama's running, to a job interview. He offered quite a sparkle with his, or her assessment.  And, I must say that based on a standard most industry and businesses hire by, Obama isn't experienced enough. But look at our current commander and chief. He had nothing other than a meager Gubernatorial shard also. (I have longed for a true conservative, didn't get one) We took a chance on him didn't we?

I'm not long for this world, but I have a bevy of generational interests behind me that will be here to suffer what "they" have done and still want to do. As I said before.... and OH LORD you should trust that it is yet so. If you are doing well and don't want  change, fine... do your best to keep those incumbants(regardless of party favorites). If you can actually see, and have felt, or worry you will finally feel the wrongs been force-fed to America, then vote those incumbants out. (party favorites too) I think we can all agree that we really don't have a voice here, now, today, we sit here for the lack of anything better to do perhaps, and toss words back and forth with little to no hope of getting anywhere with them, but to maybe feel a little better about sounding off. But it is clear, we can go be heard the 4th. You like the world as it is today? Simple.  Don't like it so much?  Vote them all out. When food spoils and begins to smell, We toss it out. We have nothing but cabinets full of spoiled food folks.

You know what to do.

God bless.

After plowing thru your 'brief' three long paragraphs I never found anythng that supported your assertion that Gov. Palin isn't fit to be VP, so obviously you have joined the MSM who feel it is their beholden duty to snipe at her.

Yesterday CNN even misquoted an article to make it sound like she was the scum of the earth.

I, personally, do not think that NObama is qualified to be VP let alone POTUS and many agree with me. I understand that you don't but don't make some assertion and then ramble on for three paragraphs and never support your assertion.

I think the best supporting fact to claim Gov. Palin is not fit to be VP is the fact That Gov. Palin does know what a VP does. She has been asked on 3 separate occasions "What does a VP do?". All 3 occasions she has answered incorrectly. This shows a serious flaw in her ability to seek simple information such as a Job Description.

We need better.

Peace

u mean we need your candidate with only 143 days experience, didnt it take u more than 5 months to work your way to up to TLE mgr or assistant mgr. whichever position u held in davenport? and u wanna trust a racist man with the littlest amount of experience to run the country........heres more about your candidate...

Obama's Social Security Whopper September 20, 2008 Updated: September 22, 2008 He tells Social Security recipients their money would now be in the stock market under McCain's plan. False. Summary In Daytona Beach, Obama said that "if my opponent had his way, the millions of Floridians who rely on it would've had their Social Security tied up in the stock market this week." He referred to "elderly women" at risk of poverty, and said families would be scrambling to support "grandmothers and grandfathers."

That's not true. The plan proposed by President Bush and supported by McCain in 2005 would not have allowed anyone born before 1950 to invest any part of their Social Security taxes in private accounts. All current retirees would be covered by the same benefits they are now.

now he's trying to scare people into voting for him...the dems love to scare the older folks about social security...why would he start lying about it chosen?, your candidate is already measuring the curtains for his new office...one poll has mccain and obama neck and neck....thats y obama has resorted to the 30 yr old liberal play book.

oh by the way chosen this info came from factcheck.org
