Wow. Talk about a thick head. Hawaii's Dept. of Health does not release the doctor-signed copy. Instead they release the form you've seen in all of the photographs. It's not uncommon for states to do this. Case in point, none of my children's birth certificates have a doctor's signature, either. Some states still release doctor-signed copies, however, most states have gone to a computer database and only release certified copies like the one produced for Obama. In fact, I believe the state of Hawaii went to that system just within the last ten or fifteen years and has even revised the form since then, hence the notation "OHSM (Rev. 11/01) LASER." Of course, the first article that I linked to states just that:

"When we asked about the security borders, which look different from some other examples of Hawaii certifications of live birth, Kurt said "The borders are generated each time a certified copy is printed. A citation located on the bottom left hand corner of the certificate indicates which date the form was revised." He also confirmed that the information in the short form birth certificate is sufficient to prove citizenship for 'all reasonable purposes.'"

But that probably requires that you actually read the article and not just stick your head in the sand and pretend that what you want to believe is true. The "certificate of live birth" posted by the Obama campaign cannot be viewed as authoritative, the case alleges.


"Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the child's birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence," the document said. "The only way to know where Senator Obama was actually born is to view Senator Obama's original birth certificate from 1961 that shows the name of the hospital and the name and signature of the doctor that delivered him.

The case also raises the circumstances of Obama's time during his youth in Indonesia, where he was listed as having Indonesian citizenship. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship, raising the possibility of Obama's mother having given up his U.S. citizenship.


Any subsequent U.S. citizenship then, the case claims, would be "naturalized," not "natural-born.

Just this week, WND has reported on more than half a dozen other legal challenges have been filed in federal and state courts demanding Obama's decertification from ballots or seeking to halt elector meetings, claiming he has failed to prove his U.S. citizenship status.


Among the states where cases are being tracked are Ohio, Connecticut, Washington, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Hawaii, and there were reports of other cases being developed in Utah, Wyoming, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Texas, California and Virginia.

do you think these people are just having fun wasting their money. the guy is avoiding showing proof of his place of birth or his citizenship status. In my mind if a guy is going out of his way to not do the easiest( show the proof) there must be a reason (not a natural born) which means he can not be president. period! photocopies on the web site are not forgery proof. there are 7 cases and possibly 8 more. hmmmm, are these people just messing with obama, why does he not produce the papers. makes one wonder. If you give a rats a$$ about this country you too would want the highest position to be filled by an American and not a foreigner!  lets see johnson, nixon, ford, carter, reagan, bush sr, clinton, and bush jr have been some of the worse presidents we have had and obama will fit right in their. until these guys we were the industrial gaints, number 1 in the world. now you can hardly find a product made or grown here. I have to have a back ground and credit check to work at alcoa and he does not have to prove he his a citizen. C'mon all you people who voted for this guy probably think clinton did a good job too. just remember nafta and cafta, somilia, bosnia C'mon. how come the last 3 presidents had ties to criminals that were convicted. and these two candidates also have ties to some shady people. they are all bought and paid for by the corporations. C'mon!

Do you believe he would even be allowed to run for the office if he was ineligible? Do you think that an entire political party would risk it by putting up a candidate who was ineligible for the office? Do you believe everything you read on WorldNetDaily?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may have bigger issues than Obama's birth certificate to deal with.
