Bobby Lee Rush (born November 23, 1946) is an American politician from Illinois. A Democrat, he has served in the United States House of Representatives as the member from Illinois' 1st congressional district since 1993. Rush's district is located principally on the South Side of Chicago. It is a minority-majority district and has a higher percentage of African Americans (65%) than any other congressional district in the nation.

Rush is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, as well as a former member and founder of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party.

Quite the conflict of interest huh? It's admirable, that a former "Hoodlum"? Change clothes in such an eloquent fashion, but talk about one extreme to another. Oh also I apologize to anyone espousing the term liberal, but I do mean "fashist" should that type of legislation be seriously considered. And, of course the simple minded anti-constitutionalists mentality behind any one's thoughts, that such silliness would EVER make a difference in this messed up world. It would only serve to offer those criminals an easier time at their craft. While those hidden away in their ivory towers might one day walk the walk of decadent privilege with heads held high, knowing that at least you nor I could hold them up with anything but an outstretched empty hand. I'm gullible at times, but NOT THAT MUCH. Let a few of these "socialites spend a year in the dregs as most of "real America"must, and then see- what kind of legislation they craft. My guess is that hypocrisy would become a four letter word to many, and perhaps more, like the  Swiss, would finally get it. What is that old famously true phrase? A good  Defense is the best deterrent" Or something like that?

I will certainly write our representatives regarding this Rush fool. This is just laughable and should this make it to a vote, well I can't help re-elect any rep. who votes in favor of it's passing.
