Well I just got back from the Neighborhood Link Bar where the judges, Nigel, Bigbrother, and Darylmaxen picked the winner of the most romantic person in the neighborhood.  They were the judges because they didn't have any submissions.  So they were objective.  I did not vote, I only moderated.  I must say they did want to vote me the most romantic, but I refused to let them.  It was only because I got to the bar early and got things set up.  I had a lot of candles glowing and had made them all margaritas, and had snacky things out and slow music playing softly in the background.  Actually that Nigel isn't really that bad of a dancer. Anyway the guys came to these conclusions.  The posts from Istreat and Wroe were honorable mentions.  They really were romantic and did fill the spirit of this Valentine's Day challenge.  They also agreed with Frazzled and Kenn that it's not always about tangible romance like candles and bubble baths, but just as romantic is being best friends with each other for many years.  Everyone's entry was considered and all of them was very good.  Third place went to DF with his heart shaped pizza.  That was original.  Second place went to Mil because they still continue the tradition of taking the walk.  That is sweet.  But the number one romantic post and the winner of the title "Most Romantic Person in the Neighborhood" goes to...  Nedl with his Judy Juggs story.  The guys admitted it was more out of jealousy that they awarded the prize to Nedl.  Who wouldn't want to have a spouse that can dispense beer from a nipple.  So congratulation to our own Nedl, The Most Romantic Person in the Neighborhood.

Awards Gee people. I wasen't expecting this. (Wipes away a tear). So many posters were more deserving. I thank everyone for this award. And all those who worked in the sidelines. The people on the rubber plantation where Judy was born. The people in the factory where Judy grew up. Opie's head & secs shop where I first met her.

Judy's sorry but she couldn't be here to take part in this wonderful moment. As you may have heard, Judy had an unfortunate accident last week. I filled her with beer and took her ice fishing with DF and me. We misjudged the temperature out there on the ice. I thought DF was adding enough Jack Daniels to the beer in Judy to keep her safe but turns out, DF drank the JD he was supposed to add to Judy's beer. In short, Judy froze solid and started cracking. We rushed her home and thawed her out but as she thawed she leaked beer from many places. I had to send her away to try and vulcanize her cracks closed. (No jokes please).

Judy forgives DF and sends her love to all. Thankew, thankewvermuch.

Just so you all know, there was payola involved and it makes Blagojovich's efforts look like chump change.
