are dying off.....George Carlin, Rodney Dangerfield, Richard Pryor, Buddy Hackett, and Sam Kinison who was my all time favorite...the stories that they told always made ya laugh like crazy no matter how often that you heard them........Todays comedians just dont seem to have that fire in them.....

People like Robin Williams, and Eddie Murphy just dont seem to be as funny as they used to be.

Maybe we're just getting older. It seems to me that most new movies are "B" movies. Nobody actors, lousy plot, lots of sex but poor camera work. When I rent movies on MPW I try to only rent ones with actors I heard of and like. They are getting harder to find.

I agree with ya ......wholeheartedly.....i like action stars like Chuck Norris who just turned 69, Stallone who doesnt do much anymore, Arnie who is too busy running California, and Clint Eastwood who also doesnt do much anymore........these are the guys i grew up watching as a kid....getting older sucks!

We don't agree on much, I but I totally agree with you on this.  I loved Sam Kinison, and he was one of the few that could get me laughing so hard I had tears, and trouble catching my breath. Carlin was another of my favorites.  I remember him from when I was a kid too.  He had a really good long career, and I think that's because he talked about relevant stuff, and even though he made you laugh your butt off, he was a little provocative too...made ya think.

I am not a fan of Eddie Murphy at all, never have been.  I liked Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting, and Dead Poets Society, but I'm not much for his comedy stuff.
