Muscatine

My first car was a  well used '69 Pontiac Tempest.  Olive green.  I bought it for $100.  I loved that car!

my next car was a Chevy Vega.  Don't laugh. 

And I do have some really fond memories of a '74 Monte Carlo, though it wasn't my car.

No LOL please  my first car was a hand me down from my mom. it was a 1974 levis gremlin. but i can say i had a lot of good times in it.  my favorite was my 1970 z28 camaro when i bought it that's when i found out i was destine to become a mechanic. and that's what i have done for the past 29 years.  but i have rebuilt a 69 charger, 68 gto. 68 fastback mustang. and now i have a 14 year old daughter and I'm looking for something to restore for her 16th birthday. she wants a vw bug. and be leave me I'm showing her all kinds of cars to change her mind. no matter what she decides i will have a blast doing it. and then its my turn again

 My most favorite by far was a '61 Ford Econoline van. Mine had windows down one side only. It was perfect. Reliable, easy to fix, short wheelbase, short turning radius, high road clearance to wade deep puddles and "step" over logs and humps. I put a camp cot inside for my snotbucket kids to sit on.

Dont feel bad lilsmom, i used to own a vega too.....biggest piece of.....well im sure u know what i mean.....the i sold it the kid tried to outrun the cops in it during the chase he went over some rail road tracks and the frame snapped.......
