It appears you do not have a smidgeon of an idea of the reason our country's founders created and passed the 2nd amendment.   It sure as hell wasn't about "hunting"!

And don't tell Harry Reed that armed "insurgents" can't whup a modern military.  Remember he declared the Iraq war "lost"?????    In my case, and my family's, we would rather go down fighting than surrender to the likes of you or any other liberal sheep.   You underestimate the U.S. armed citizen.    We have something in our genetics imparted by those risk takers that left everything and came to this country to start a new and risky life.     If you think we are quitters you are sadly mistaken.

I find it strange that there is a post thread here by a liberal that speaks to conservatives not listening to the Oreilly's of the world....then old iowan comes along and says liberals don't tell others who to listen to. Is that fact enough for ya, old iowan?

Unemployment is at a new high since 83. What has your liberal congress, in charge for over two years now, done to prevent, or even diminish, that? Can you address that fact, since facts are what you wish to deal in? Can you show us any proof of what they did as they watched the current financial crisis unfold before their eyes?

Every day, nobama and the liberals fall further behind in delivering his campaign promises to fix things. Just yesterday, they announced cuts to military spending. Nice...that will sure solve problems. Care to follow where that money will go after being taken away from those project? That would be a nice fact for you to discuss here.

The only trouble with old iowan's assessment of things is that it does not seem as though the thinking head has been above the sand more than it has been below it. Kinda hard to see facts from that perspective.

BB, nobama did promise to shut down gitmo and that was his first order of business - now he doesn't have the foggiest notion of what to do with all those terrorists that are currently living there, but I guess he'll cross that bridge later. He announced that we would be out of Iraq - funny his timeline was the same as the Bush timeline. His speech to the Muslims today was 80% the same as the speech that Bush gave. All those little things that he says keeps the hearts of those libs in their throats, and begging for more,more,more! TARP gave all those billions of dollars to banks, many of who did not need/want those dollars and after watching what is happening to private businesses after they get the federal (yours and mine) dollars - the restrictions on salary, who has to resign and etc - many banks have said they want to give the TARP funds back to the treasury and are told NO in no uncertain terms. Does that do your little heart good? Yah, mine too. That's OUR money - if the govt doesn't want it - we'll take it. We could use a little stimulus. Every day I just shake my head in wonder - how did things go so wrong? How can this end? Since you travel so much, you know that we have it better around here than in many parts of the country, but I'm sure not as well as other parts of the country. But brace yourself, our times seem to be getting pretty tough around here. That will be nobama's promise for 'change'.
