Motorcycle crashes into building because of brake failure 2 people were on bike but only 1 survived...
Truth of the matter is, the guy realized his brakes failed and didnt want the girl to know.. Instead he had her tell him she loved him and hug him one last time and then had her take his helmet so that she would live even though it meant he would die.
This gave me goosebumps...
My hubby & I used to go motorcycle riding when our kids were little. We would get a sitter & go out for a couple of hours. Sometimes the helmet was hot & bulky- but we always wore it. I get shivers down my spine when I see people, (especially on the highway/interstate), without one.
I bet it WAS hard to get past your experience, xmc. It's human nature for all of us to think back & wish there could have been something we could have done to help. You did your best.
