Muscatine

Graffiti is a problem, but is it really the biggest problem our community faces?  I think the city council could focus their attention to something more meaningful. 

Honestly i believe the potholes are a huge problem...especially when it costs me 900.00 for shocks and thats just for parts!....hmmmm maybe i should send the bill to the city!

This coming from a body (city counsel) that is so inept and sterile they won't even enforce their own ordinances already on the books.  I refer to all the trash ordinances downtown that they have not lifted a finger to enforce the past nine years I have been downtown.  What a joke, they want to do the graffiti thing to keep our comunity beatutiful, yet they let trash and garbage be put out downtown anywhere, and any time of day with out any recourse.  Our downtown is so filthy and trash blown I can understand why people won't come downtown to shop.  And the city won't do a thing to fix the problem.  This graffiti ordinance is just another one that will go on the books but never be enforced.  They don't have the balls to enforce it.  The hypocritical nature of this city counsel is just appalling.
