I have Vista on my living room computer, XP on our laptops. I haven't had any problems with it. It does some things differently (photos, printing) than my others, but I've honestly not had any problems at all.

I too have had Vista since April 2007. I have had zero problems with it. Took a bit of getting used to, but now its like any system. Don't know why I am an exception. I have had some other issues; but they were not related to Vista. |

I PERSONNALLY don't have any issues with it, but, my wife does! For one thing the email thing is REALLY bogus! You can ONLY have one user on what USED to be Outlook Express (which I had NO problems with). Since He set up my account first, my wife HAS to use Microsoft Outlook, and, believe me, it just ain't the same! She's not getting ANY of her important emails, that she KNOWS are being sent to her. A lot of her emails go directly to Junk Mail, with NO WAY of changing the setting. I'd REALLY be pissed, if it were ME having to deal with it! I, like you, GTA1, am STRONGLY considering going back to XP Professional! This Ultimate program wasn't cheap, but, I've spent a TON of money, due to the Internet, foolishly. Shaackman. |

Tom, You can set up multiple email accounts on Windows Mail. Just click on Tools, Accounts, Mail. It will give you the option to Add--just follow the prompts. Also, in the junk mail folder, you can right-click on any email and add it to the "safe senders" list, so it no longer ends up in your junk mail.
good luck. change isn't always fun. |
