Again an almost victim to the teenage texting cellphone using driver.   So if little miss red grand-am on the corner of grandview ave and oregon st. on saturday afternoon is reading this I would like to extend a personal thank you to you for pulling out in front of me and a heartfelt apology to you for my inconveniencing you as I locked up my brakes and almost hit you. I must say tho you are incorrect about a few things, first of all I do not have sexual relations with my mother, so no, i am not a mother f*ck*r, secondly I am sorry for not watching where i was going even tho i had the green light and the right of way and you were turning into traffic. thirdly, I must say you have quite a broad vocabulary, I was impressed as you screamed out all those bad words at me and sped away weel over the speed limit and lastly, thanks for being nice and waving, even tho it was only with one finger. I gotta say, if you would have been a guy, I think I would have had to chase you down introduce my knuckles to your face repeatedly.

XMC-

I actually laughed the first time I heard that there was controversy about texting & driving!  I thought it HAD TO BE A MINORITY - DUH!  But it's HAPPENING, isn't it?

Does your cell phone have video?  Tape the kid - get her license plate.  Follow her while dialing 911 - I don't know.

Have you ever been over @ the high school parking lot when the kids get out?  I have.  It has been my opinion that the police, ( or a parent with a video cam), be there to tape the idiots as they exit the parking lots.  The videos could be shown to the parents!  If I saw my child drive the way I see many of them drive, I would see $$$$ signs, you know, my insurance going up.

We never allowed our kids to be included on our insurance, they always had to provide their own as well as the vehicle. If they were not responsible enough to provide both then they didn't need to drive. Some found us to be harsh by our stance. We just felt if it were their car and their money on the line they would be a bit more aware.
