JOS: Please, please try to remember what was said and please, please, concentrate on following the thread of conversation. What I specifically was referring to with the "you think it needs more wacking around" statement was the relative importance of the Dems health care initiative among all the other things of importance. I thought that was settled as you didn't respond to my last post about that subject. According to the latest Rasmussen reports about "what the people are tellling us", is the general statement that only 20% feel changing the health care system is the most important. And most of those polled feel the real problem is cost not lack of insurance or health care.
What I'm giving up is listening to any spin promoting the Dems plan for grabbing more centralized power. It's really becoming a dead horse with the general public anyway. Here's what I actually posted about "wacking something around", for your reference:
"
JOS: Poor boy....No, I said YOU were fixated on one item from my original post. That item was a statement about health care not being near the top in priority with more and more people. If you think it needs more wacking around, let's go at it.
When you have just a few items to prioritize, of course you can say that any are "near the top". I should have said that health care is not the top priority, I guess, but the difference is pretty meaningless when the fall out for the real misleaders is considered. It wasn't I who said he didn't want to waste any crisis! And it's not a stretch to then take it for granted that any crisis can be manufactured to promulgate an agenda. "
You chose to not answer any of those specific points, so I assumed you recognized the error of your ways!
