Why don't you go and get your own mail instead of relying on the government to deliver it for you? Why don't you fill the potholes yourself instead of relying on the government to do it for you? Are you too lazy to provide for yourself?

 

I believe those services are paid for with tax money arent they......mail delivery from the cost of a stamp? true? potholes we pay taxes for that.?...well at least thats what i was told anyway......by the way check the streets of muscatine, the potholes are still mostly there...

Same here. The richest country in the world shouldn't be letting millions of its citizens go without healthcare just because of the size of their bank accounts. Rich or poor, both deserve the chance to be healthy.

It's actually more like $250,000 a year. That $88,000 came from the article you posted and had to do with something else.

As I said in an earlier post, it's not going to be free. This program will simply help to control the costs.

So if everybody were taxed equally it would be better? Careful, they'll take away your secret conservative decoder ring.
