This morning on The Jan Michaelson show, they were chatting with senator King. King started talking about the uninsured numbers.......of them about 6 million are illegals (who dont pay taxes) and i believe this to be a low number and not actual. Next were legal aliens and i believe that number was somewhere around 7 million again even legals dont pay taxes. Theres about 25 % or more of the supposed uninsured.Next was people who make over 75,000 a year who are uninsured but can afford it. That number was i believe somwhere around 7 or 8 million. There was about 5 million who qualified for medicaid that just didnt apply for it.Senator King said there were only about 4 % who were chronically uninsured. So why the big to do about the healthcare when theres only about 4% who really need it? The illegals need to fend for themselves since they arent even supposed to be here anyway! The legals if they want it need to pay for it themselves with absolutely NO help from the government.Look at what comes out of a tax payers check, federal and state taxes, social security taxes, legals get to enjoy the benefits from taxes that they dont pay.
One of the points that was brought up, was that medical care is for anyone, a hospital cannot deny you care wether you can pay or not.So contrary to what the dems say, health care is available to all. Insurance may not but health care is.
Its funny listening to all of these doctors, drug companies, and hospitals and clinics who support the hostile takeover of the health care system. They all could lower prices etc. without a law that forces them to do so, UNLESS there is something in it for them....like being primary caregivers etc, for the government.
Mark Stein made the point today that if Huessein gets his way, Government control of our personal lives will soar. For example the feds could force iowa to reenact the helmet that was dropped so long ago because it was found to be unconstitutional. Or ban diabetics from anything sugary, or put Mcdonalds out of buisiness because they dont serve healthy food and so on and so on...
While people like JOS and mallory havent the ability to make good decisions for themselves, i personally dont need barry and his band of liars making any decisions for me or my family.
Another point made was that it would be easier and cheaper for companies to pay the 8% surtax and dump thier people into the government plan. And allowing the IRS to tax you x amount of dollars if the government doesnt approve of the plan your in.
Senator King also stated that 30 more federal government entities would be created to run this single payer system...so not only would tax payers have to fund the plan itself, but the 30 agencies running the show...so for those of you who like JOS and mallory who want "freebie care" move to canada where the federal tax rate is 54% and you too can have substandard rationed healthcare.....but dont force it up those of us who dont want it! by the way both dems and conseratives dont want the crap.....out of everyone i know there are only 2 people who want the government care.....but the other conservatives and even liberals that i know, know its a bad idea!
