Who do you think should be our mayor & why?  What should our city council decide to do about the graffitti & gang problem?  (I personally think that every one of them needs to be kicked in the ass & I am more than willing to go out on my own free time to cover any graffitti they do!)   How about the gang task force they are trying to create?   What do you all think about the new Ag center?  How do you feel about the schools & administration that your children or grandchildren go to?

Well as far as the mayor, anybody but O'brien for entertaining the notion that the victims of graffitti should ticketed until removed or fined if not removed in the citys' time table.....as far as Dawnese i've met her a couple of times and talked to her...we never talked politics..but as a person she is a  very nice lady

Graffitti task force should be kicked right square in the ass , i emailed the city council about it. Phil Fitzgerald replied saying "its easy to gripe about something with out bringing any suggestions of your own to the table" or something to that affectso i gave them 3 suggestions and said there ya go..not one of my suggestions fined anyoneboy did that end the conversation...our local politicians are as bad as our national ones they do as they wish.....

The gang problem...can we get our local law enforcement off thier cell phones long enough to pay attention to whats going on around them?now the other day in all fairness...i did see an old timer cop....i remeber him from the mid 80's when i was younger ....he was probably the only cop ive seen lately that doesnt have a cell phone glued to his ear....

Speaking of cell phones- our USPS worker talks on his cell while delivering the mail. I used to wonder why the mail got mixed up - sometimes the neighbor would bring mine that had been delivered to them and sometimes I would take some errant mail to another neighbor. Also, I never quite understood how so many listed in that "Great Treasure Hunt in Iowa" got taken back as 'undeliverable', when often I have seen Central State Bank on the list at 301 Iowa Ave. Just how long have CSB been at 301 Iowa Ave?

Maybe they should have no cell phone and/or texting on mail routes.?
