Cardboard "recycling"

The boxes I put out were plain cardboard shipping boxes with the tape cut so they'd be flat pieces. My neighbors had 2 shoe boxes and a box that a window fan came in. Those certainly should have been picked up! Same with what I put out last week that wasn't picked up. Plain flat corrugated cardboard. There's no excuse that I can think of as to why it wasn't picked up and it's pretty frustrating to come home and find it blown around and have to pick it up. I guess tomorrow I'll have to take it to one of the trailers. Seems it might have been simpler to just leave things the way they were if the city isn't going to bother picking it up.

Actually, according to the city's website, pizza boxes can be recycled as long as there's no food in them.
