Your problem appears to be with the National Counterterrorism Center and it's failure to connect the dots concerning Abdulmutallab. Maybe you should take that up with your boy, George. After all, it was his administration that established the department, set up the rules about who and how someone gets placed on the watch list and the no-fly list, and appointed it's current director.

1.  The anthrax letters were never proven to be an act perpetrated by Islamist terrorists.  Nor were they ever connected to Islamist terrorists.  Much more likely they were the act of a nutty leftist, or a disgruntled pin head scientist.

 

2.  The attack in Los Angeles by an Egyptian was also never proven to be connected to any terrorist group.  But was eventually determined to have been committed by a lone individual with a hatred for Jews and Israel. 

   After many months of investigation, this was the outcome:  "An Egyptian immigrant who opened fire inside Los Angeles International Airport committed an act of terrorism, but he did it alone and was not tied to any terrorist organizations, federal officials have determined. ..."

 

3.  The attack on the U.S. embassy in Syria was on Syrian soil, not U.S.    They never got into the embassy.  Only a Syrian guard was killed and Syrians wounded.

 

So I'd say you are the one, JOS, who is once again stretching the situation and spinning to your advantage.

 

By the way, I will give you the Richard Reid attack, even though it was attempted and completely thwarted far outside United States territory.   But that's still only one against Bush's 7 years after 9/11 vs. two against Obumbler's 11 months in office.

 

Just admit it.  Obumbler is not up to the job.  And more and more people are realizing this each day.  I think he does too.  I won't be surprised to see him resign before 2012.
