Sorry to be the buttinski there boys, but this topic wears on my the more I see of it.  Today, recieved email pleas for Haiti money from three online sources, and got to see more solicitations during the NFL playoffs.  I've started to hear the term "charity overload", and fear I'm already there.

"It clearly says that if you refuse to take care of "the least of these brothers of mine" that you will be "cursed,"....

 

Well, that's clear, but I guess it all depends on what you define as "the least of these brothers" doesn't it.   If I truly believe that any donations I provide to Haiti will not go to benefit "the least of these" but rather people that prey on others, then that's another thing isn't it?

No I haven't changed my opinion.  

I will continue to provide charity to the innocents of the world whenever I can be reasonably certain that's where the money is going.

I'd rather be judged for an honest and informed decision than for foolishness.
