I think that many of us will draw the line at pouring more money down this hell hole of a third world dictatorship where millions of our dollars have already been wasted, despite the wailing and pleas of Matt and Meredith to text our ten dollars or send cash. I'm still feeling badly for those poor souls, but too, the rest of this world should be able to step up. HiRoad, you've struck a nerve here. I offer a suggestion to anyone who's a little strapped for cash but feels the need to contribute to the situation. Instead, go online, find the name of any of the thousands of families affected by a death on 9/11, and send them the contribution instead. Could be used for a college fund, for medical bills, or for any reason these families see fit. |
