Morning MallorySmile

I'm unable to think today. I've been in pain all night and:::well perhaps tomorrow. I think we all realize our government is about to hit rock bottom and any more, the blame has begun to shift across all lanes. If these reps in both houses had been doing their job, to get people back to work, I think the over all :::view of congress might be better. It's really too early to start heading Obama to the chopping block, even if he is a dem with diminishing credibility. Things have been::: and are just way too messed up. He is really beginning to look like a one termer. I don't think even McCain could have done much at this point had he won, and the same old battles would have been the blame then too. But his long years of experience might have been a better tool to motivate congress. Trust me, I know first hand we need health care reforms, but I always thought closing the gates to corporate exodus and returning jobs to Americans was more important.

Back to bed for this birdie.

Lucy.

No, Obama's biggest mistake was his training and Chicago background!

"Cook County a 'Dark Pool of Political Corruption'

New study provides insight into 141+ years of political hijinks"

"Cook County has been a "dark pool of political corruption" for more than a century, a new study by the University of Illinois at Chicago says.

Nearly 150 employees, politicians and contractors in the nation's second-largest county have been convicted on corruption charges since 1957, according to a report released Thursday by the university and the Better Government Association (.pdf)"

Let's see, what party has been totally in charge in Cook county since the 1930's?  You guessed it!  Not even close to 3 to 1 in that neighborhood.  And where did the annointed one cut his political teeth?  With whom does he surround himself?
