Jobless claims rise unexpectedly

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The number of Americans filing first-time claims for unemployment insurance climbed unexpectedly last week.

There were 473,000 initial jobless claims filed in the week ended Feb. 13, up 31,000 from the previous week's upwardly revised 442,000, the Labor Department said on Thursday.

I cant believe that obumbler and biden lied....after seeing this it would suck to be a fence rider or a liberal......have u noticed that since TP has been here in full force bird has been very scarce........

"Bird" I have been suffering the affects of  a serious disability. Not that you were aware, but nonetheless, just not feeling to perky this week is all. I do have other issues in life and am not daft enough to play that game. And would finally appreciate you guys looking elsewhere to flush out "your" fakers who might also disagree with the one rail train ride. I don't know "TP"::: but am as thankful for him/her as I am for yous and everyone else.

Regarding the job numbers? The ones I forwarded are record. They were from independentgovernment sources and were a reflection of the over all numbers since 2007. Not Obama's latest guesswork. I am not aware of the changes in recent numbers. Could either of you offer a link to read the story? I still remain in the middle and I don't want our nation in total failure. Obama and Biden need to tell the truth like any president and vice president is sworn to do. If they lied(again) they should be railed. It's still my centrist position regardless, if they do wrong, they need to be called on it.

BB.....Not a bit surprised at this latest revelation, as we've know the stimulus job claims have been bogus from the get-go.  It's getting to the point where they're not even good liars anymore
