Actually TP i dont want the help obumbler is offering...and after seeing part of the healthcare summit i want his help even less than before........

What do you think he said during the health care summit? You seem to take exception with our President on a regular basis. This is fine, everyone is entitled to there opinion, but shouldn't we at least know what were asking for? Now clearly you're one of the millions that need coverage. Our President seeks to give that to you. I don't see the problem.

He doesnt seek to GIVE me anything.......he seeks to FORCE me into something.....he stated during the summit that people have to be FORCED into it to keep rates low......and the government has done such a GREAT job with medicaid and medicare and social security..........the government has done such a bang up job.....in countries with socialized medicine the care is mediocre at best......second rate insurance isnt the answer......there is this insurance called "iowa cares" if u apply for it u r stuck with it for a bare minimum of 6 months......u can only get care through the university of iowa...to which u are put on a waiting list for care.....so it may take u 3 or 4 months to get in to see a doctor......if thats the kind of care u want.....then by all means stand behind obumbler.......if i need medical care i prefer not to have to wait months for it........

As I suspected, you're very wrong on what Obama said. I can not speak intelligently about "Iowa Cares" program, I know nothing of it. What I can tell is that if you are uninsured, and the only medical treatment you are receiving is in the Er's, you are waiting weeks / months in between visits. I also like to add this is part of the problem and the cause of rising health care cost.

I won't tell you what to believe, we all have our own opinions, but you should at least actually read what was stated by our President before you condemn the plan. I'm sure you can find the transcripts somewhere on line.
