Here's something that came out today that we know we didn't have in the 60's!   Last year 49% of the U.S. households paid no federal income tax (zero tax).   Not only that, an average of 40% actually got back more than they would have paid in!   In other words they made a profit.    I don't know about you, but I'm not wealthy, but I did pay a net federal income tax last year.  That means that some of my (and likely some of your) money was paid out to people who did absolutley nothing to support the federal government!    How's that for "hope and change"!!!!!!

Do you mean the law preventing felons from voting?  I'm sure the democrats hate that law, but the republicans are glad it's there.  I wonder why?  Who coined the term, "the dark side"?   What other "blocking" do you mean?  Maybe people that are not citizens of the U.S.?  Yep, I bet you guys hate that one too.

I've been aware for a long time that Prescott Bush made a bunch of money in dealings with the enemy but this reporter provides a lot more detail.   I always wonder what the mechanism is that keeps stuff like this suppressed.   It might be partially because of the natural conservative bias of the press.

I like the comparison of Karl Rove with Joseph Goebbels.   I've thought they were similar for years.   Although Karl had a lot more influence on W than Goebbels had on Hitler.   Hitler had more of a mind of his own.
