The great Oz today again mocked the Tea Party protesters.  This time because they shouldn't be mad about taxes!  He wondered why they were mad about taxes, instead of thanking him for a stimulus handout!

Well, oh great one, you either aren't listening or trying to distract the protest.   Taxes are not what Tea Party protestors are protesting!   According to a recent CBS news network poll of Tea Party members within the last week, here are the top things they are truly angry about:

"Asked what they are most angry about, the top four answers among Tea Party supporters who identify as angry were the health care reform bill (16 percent), the government not representing the people (14 percent), government spending (11 percent) and unemployment and the economy (8 percent).

 In fact most Tea Party members say their taxes are "fair"!

The Obumbler is again obfuscating.

While I'll accept your post as factual, you have to admit you understand the confusion. For the past year the tea party has done nothing but scream about unfair taxation. I'm sure after the latest reports of the lowest taxes in 60 years that story has changed. Go figure.

This poll was conducted before any news came out about Obumbler and taxes.  In fact, in my conversations with those involved with the Tea Party over the past few months, taxes have not been an issue.   Excess government spending has been!

Show me a legitimate poll of Tea Party members/assemblers/protesters over the last year that name "taxes" as one of their top priorities.   I'm not talking about news articles where the reporter interprets any agendas themselves.  I'm after legitimate surveys or polls supporting your contention.  Once again, you don't know what you are talking about.

Tax season just ended, but it's been going on for several months now. I not sure I can show you polls on what the tea party goers may have been thinking. What I can give is their quotes.

Lets start with the name, TEA. It stands for Taxed Enough Already. Hard to claim the movement isn't about taxes with this name. Then you have the direct quotes over the past year.
