So your only defense is to say that anything ever stated about taxes and the tea party are simply incorrect. Photos? Hmmm?

Need more

As a matter of fact I do.  Your first link is about out of control spending.

Your second link has nothing to do with taxes.

Your third link are two signs from the original tea party in Boston and are just as relevant today.

Your fourth link... a bumpersticker?  WTF

Your fifth link some advertising for the Fair Tax Sysytem  Have you looked into the Fair Tax Inititive?  It sounds very good to me.

You get some obscure pictures to prove your point that all TEA Partiers are  all against taxes.  Yes that is part of their concerns but not the all consuming one you portray it to be.  Your pictures of tea partiers and taxes is like me showing you a picture of Hitler with Mousillini and saying that proves Hitler was Italian.

The first link clearly states , in bold green type, the desire to protest out of control "TAX" and spending. Just keeping things honest.

The second link has everything to do with taxes. How do you think we spread the wealth?

The third link, by your admission, is relevant to taxation. IE taxes.

LMAO.... The 4th link was a bumper sticker, but again it stresses the mood of the tea party.

In the 5th link they're promoting is no sales tax and no income tax and again it's part of the tea party.

Do you accept links 6 & 7?

If the tea party is about more then taxes than they need to show it. It's their movement not mine. I can only show you what I see. Post one clearly tried to paint a picture of taxes not even being of concern to the tea party. This is false representation of the facts.

Babybird - I do enjoy reading your post. Yes I am doing a bit of gloating as I shake my head at the post. I hope the experts are correct and that with the expiration of the Bush tax cuts and better controlled spending we can cover much of the bills the past 9 years has brought to America.

Hi TPSmile

Thanks, and I do get it:::

Taxes are pretty much an end-game for the hapless or unfortunate straw drawers with no way out. Look at how systematically every state and county is pulling the wool over our eyes and raising everything from fines and fees to parking. I loved the whole notion that cutting taxes from our economic pie for the greater good of those holding 95% of the wealth, was somehow going to make the whole pie taste better. It was just like Reagan's "trickle down" foolishness. The idea that our jobs would be more plentiful and payroll made easier if the rich had more, was laughable. It wouldn't work no matter who put what spin on it. Bush's cuts were maligned by the most wealthy as only a huge gift for the richest 5%, that only took a slight burden from the rest of us 95%. I hate taxes as does anyone with any sense, but just try to run a nation without it. Oh heck yeah, I forgot, they did do that more than once and look at us now. Yes, I know:::this mess didn't happen because of taxes alone, yeah:::it took the most devastating banking deregulation ever, it took six free taxless border- trade deals, it took the end of SEC control over traders and bankers, it took massive deregulation in the energy industry and no less than eight years to do it. If this congress and Obama can even come close to repairing all that damage in one term I'd be utterly shocked. Even more so if the would be conservative base could do it in that time as well. But I digress and hope that no matter what obstacles are cast in front of our leaders, they get the message and get to repealing everything Bush signed. Even if it means we pay more in taxes and I hate taxes, and corporations have to come home or go broke. Like I have said before, if the richest of the rich clearly recognized what a damaging move such tax cuts were, and are::: who are we:::the poor lowly bottom feeders::: to challenge the intellect of those who know how to make and keep their billions?

Could one of you knotheads please explain to me what's wrong with being mad as hell at more taxes?

Nobody said it is wrong.   The issue being debated is whether or not the TEA party is mad about taxes or not.   The preponderence of evidence says they are.   The poll says that is not the thing that makes them most angry.

And as an aside there is the puzzlement of why they would be, since President Obama just signed into law a measure that gives 90 some percent of us a tax reduction.

It might be that they have finally realiized that and have therefor moved on to other issues.
